About

TINUTU was founded by Emil Khell in January 2023 with a simple but determined mission: to guide artists through the often complicated structures of the music industry. In its early stages, Tinutu focused on publishing administration, helping artists distribute their music, register with PROs, secure cover song licenses, and set up official artist channels, the essential first steps of any professional career.

Within its first 2 years, Tinutu has administered the publishing of more than 60 tracks. Our publishing service covers every aspect of rights and royalties to ensure artists and contributors are properly protected and paid.
We provide:

  • Contracts: Drafting clear agreements for royalty splits and revenue splits between all contributors (artists, executive producers, etc.).
  • Royalty collection: Handling royalties for both composers/writers and performers (singers, instrumentalists, etc.).
  • Distribution & Licensing: Digital distribution, cover song licensing, and video-format licenses to prevent copyright issues or takedowns on platforms like YouTube.
  • Marketing support: Helping artists reach the right audience through targeted YouTube marketing.

The real breakthrough came with the ongoing project Eight Frames by Bishara Khell and Juisteen Kort. Through Tinutu’s guidance, the artists were given a curated list of European classical record labels that could be a strong fit for their work. This process eventually led to a release under the prestigious Austrian Gramophone: one of Europe’s most respected classical labels.

Building on this momentum, Tinutu is introducing a new service that connects artists with event organizers across Europe. The goal is to create opportunities for concerts beyond local venues, helping artists expand their audiences and reach new markets.

Today, Tinutu has expanded into a wider and more ambitious frame, aiming to connect artists to European record labels, event organizers, and cultural institutions. What began as administration has grown into a gateway for artists to release, perform, and collaborate on an international scale, with Tinutu representing and managing the process every step of the way.

European Record-Label / Performing in Europe

At Tinutu, the process is structured, transparent, and guided by expertise. Once an artist submits their materials, we first review the work to ensure it meets the professional standards required by European record labels and event organizers. If approved, we proceed to the next stage: carefully researching and identifying the labels or cultural institutions in Europe that are best suited to the project. The work is then presented to them, and we await their response.

If a label or organizer expresses interest in the artist’s work, Tinutu serves as a strategic facilitator throughout the engagement. All communications are conducted with full transparency, providing you with comprehensive updates and insights at every stage. Artists maintain full authority and decision-making power in negotiations, while Tinutu ensures that the process is clearly explained, structured, and professionally managed. Our role is to streamline complex procedures, provide expert guidance, and protect your interests, allowing you to focus on your art while confidently navigating opportunities in Europe.

Most importantly, Tinutu takes 0% of the money generated from your music or performances. Our role is only to secure the deal for you. What happens within the agreement, sales, royalties, payments, is strictly between you and the label or organizer. Tinutu stands as your helper, guide, and representative, opening doors that are otherwise nearly impossible to access alone.

Royalties & Distribution Process

After discussing your upcoming or already released project, our team analyzes which steps are missing or needed to fully meet international standards for digital releases. We ensure proper licensing is obtained, especially if your work is a cover, to avoid any potential legal issues.

In the initial steps, we make sure that all writers (composers/lyricists) and performers (instrumentalists, singers, etc.) are registered with a rights organization. This guarantees not only that the work itself is officially registered, but also that all contributors can collect their accrued royalties from streams, events, and performances (performance royalties).

Next, we handle digital distribution, making your work available on all major streaming platforms. If you release a music video, Tinutu also assists with YouTube promotion, using precise audience targeting to reach listeners with similar interests worldwide.

Importantly, all earnings generated through our publishing services are fully given to the artists. Tinutu does not take any percentage of the royalties or any other earnings for its administration on behalf of the artist.
